Privacy Policy - TestPrep Pakistan
This privacy policy explains how the TestPrep PakistanAndroid app ("the app", "we") handles study information and user data.
Summary
TestPrep Pakistan is an offline-first exam preparation app. It does not require an account, does not include third-party advertising SDKs, and does not include analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. Your study progress stays on your device. The app connects over HTTPS to download study content and, only when you enable alerts, to receive notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging.
Information stored on your device
The app stores the following information locally on your Android device using app-private storage:
- Your remembered preparation format and most recently opened subject or topic.
- Reading position, test attempts, selected answers, scores, and result history.
- Downloaded question-bank content and the local links used for past papers, tests, notes, and current affairs.
- Your notification choice and other local app settings.
This information remains on the device unless you export it, clear it, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app deletes the app-private data written by TestPrep Pakistan.
Information we collect
The current Android app does not create user accounts, does not require sign-in, and does notsend study progress to an AutomateX AI server.
We do not collect, sell, share, or transmit personal information from the app for advertising, analytics, profiling, or marketing.
The app downloads its public study catalogue and question bank from our HTTPS content service. As with a normal web request, the hosting and security infrastructure may process technical request information such as IP address, request time, requested path, and standard network headers. We use this only to deliver content, maintain reliability, and protect the service; it is not combined with your local study progress.
If you choose to enable notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging creates and processes a per-installation identifier and messaging registration, together with app-version and Firebase user-agent information, so Google can deliver content alerts to that app installation. We do not attach a name, email address, account, study history, or advertising profile to that registration.
User-initiated sharing and external links
The app may open official exam or source links in your browser when you tap them. Those external websites have their own privacy practices.
Permissions the app uses

The app does not request camera, microphone, precise location, contacts, SMS, call log, calendar, health, or financial permissions.
Third-party services and SDKs
The app is built with native Android Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. It uses Firebase Cloud Messaging only for optional content alerts. Firebase processes the installation and messaging information described above under Google's Firebase privacy and security terms. The app does not include Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Sentry, AppsFlyer, Meta SDK, Google Mobile Ads, or other advertising or analytics SDKs.
Notifications are off by default. Enabling them subscribes the app to a general content-alert topic. Turning them off unsubscribes the app, unregisters its current messaging registration, and disables automatic messaging initialization on the device.
Children's privacy
TestPrep Pakistan is an education and exam preparation app for general users, including students and adults preparing for tests. It is not designed to request a name, contact details, precise location, or other profile information from children. We do not knowingly use technical content-delivery or optional messaging data to identify or profile a child.
Your choices
- You can stop using the app at any time.
- Notifications are off by default. You can decline the permission request or disable content alerts from the app's Settings screen at any time.
- You can remove local app data by clearing app storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app.

Changes to this policy
If a future app version materially changes accounts, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, notifications, or backend data handling, we will update this policy and the Google Play Data Safety declaration before release.
