Newspaper Ads Engine

Our AI software for turning Pakistani newspaper advertisements into searchable, database-ready information for websites and services.

We use a trained YOLO model to detect advertisement sections on newspaper pages. More than 60,000 ads are awaiting structured-content generation. Our current workflow uses EasyOCR, PaddleOCR and Gemma, supported by a dedicated development PC with a 16 GB GPU. We are developing the structured-data layer so detected ads can become useful records, with review against the original advertisement.

  • Designed for categories, titles, descriptions and relevant details extracted from each advertisement
  • Next step: evaluate larger AI models for extraction accuracy, consistent structure and cost per ad
  • Intended for job portals, tender boards, classifieds platforms and other subscribed clients
We develop the processing software; source advertisements remain the intellectual property of their respective rights holders. Source attribution and links to the original publication are part of the data-product design.

Pakistani Urdu Voice

An authentic Pakistani-accent Urdu voice model, delivered through a PTA-licensed call/SMS aggregator.

Existing Urdu voices (Google, Azure, ElevenLabs) sound Indian-accented or formally newsroom. We are training a proprietary model on paid native Pakistani speakers and quality-filtered datasets, then routing it through Notify PK — our PTA-licensed delivery vehicle. Replace robotic OTP / IVR / appointment-reminder calls with a voice that actually sounds like home.

  • Trained v3-v11 on B200 GPU (180 GB VRAM) via vast.ai — data quality, not compute, was the bottleneck
  • WER, SNR, MBR-driven dataset curation phase before next training run
  • Target: banks, fintechs, ecommerce, telecoms running OTP / alert / IVR at scale

AutomateX AI SMC Private Limited is an SECP-registered Pakistani company developing and maintaining its own software products. We work across computer vision, document processing, local-language AI and applications for businesses and individuals.

Newspaper Ads Engine addresses a practical problem: useful information is often locked inside advertisement images. Our work combines trained ad detection, OCR and language models to make that information easier to find, review and use in other software.

Our next step is to compare larger AI models with our current workflow and measure extraction accuracy, consistency and processing cost. We want to improve the structured-data product while keeping human review and source traceability in view.
